For Giao's Comprehensive Project back in 2018, she researched how to apply into product design dried lotus leaves, an innovative material which is available in abundant supplies from Dong Thap province, Southern Viet Nam.

The material was sponsored by Ecolotus, a start-up company in Dong Thap, which aimed to expand their lotus leaf product ranges.

In 2023, Giao reinstalled the floor lamp for displaying at Hue Festival. Watch the process here.
